An important part of the process to build a house is to have ideas. Can not go to an architect with a blank mind (or should not). And no one's ideas out of nowhere, you have a source of inspiration. Then there are the ideas themselves (surely there are thousands of blogs that talk about this subject better than me), but this is not the issue.
The question is where to get inspiration. My wife is very clear: the journals of the kiosks. I found one that fits perfectly the stage where we are (getting inspiration from outside sources). It's called "Architecture and Design ", and focuses largely on the continent, not the content. But all these magazines have a problem: the houses that appear are completely inaccessible to ninety percent of mortals.
Leaving aside economic issues, the magazine shows at least three houses in each issue, with technical details that are appreciated (the floor plan, for example). The problem is that it makes economic issues in the background, and never touches budget estimates. Of course it is something I respect as editorial, but may reach a wider market with only This additional information. Do not forget that the English have always the euro as one in a conversation ...
